Washing hair correctly is a key for strong and healthy hair

Have you ever wondered that even if you use other hair care methods such as shampoo brush or expensive oils, you still cannot overcome the problem of your hair falling out a lot, especially after every time you wash your hair? Well, maybe the problem caused by the way that you wash your hair. In this section, The Sunday Snug will introduce to you a step-by-step full glow guide by washing hair.

Before washing

  • Step 1: Always brushing your hair before doing anything to your hair! When you wash your hair, your scalp and hair are subjected to the impact of water and rubbing. Therefore, brushing hair before washing will minimize the impact on the scalp and hair. Thereby, helping to reduce hair loss which falls out when washing.
  • Step 2: After brushing, you can use hair oil to stimulate hair growth. If you would like to know which one is suitable for you, it is recommended to read this article: Best Hair Oils for Growth.
  • Step 3: use your fingers to gently massage the scalp so that oil will be absorbed thoroughly. The ideal time is about 5 – 10 minutes. Then, you should incubate hair for about 15 – 20 minutes.

During washing

Cleansing your scalp and hair is extremely important, so you should wash it with shampoo twice to ensure your hair is completely clean of hair oil. Besides, the water temperature should be around 38 Celsius degree (100 Fahrenheit degree) to avoid hair drying.

If you wash your hair with a shampoo brush, do the same thing in the first video. However, please pay attention to washing operation because using shampoo brush incorrectly may cause an extreme hair loss. In addition, it is unnecessary to use a shampoo brush in your washing hair routine.

After washing

According to some hair stylists, it is highly recommended to blow dry your hair to about 70% dry, which means your hair is still damp at about 30%. Then you can let your hair dry naturally. This way will prevent breakage more than letting your hair dry 100% naturally. Besides, personally, I encourage you to not to dry hair with heat to avoid causing dry hair.

Some notes that you should pay attention to!

  • Please do not brush hair after using oil and incubating since this way will lead to an extreme hair loss.
  • Read carefully the instructions and effectiveness of hair oils because there are some kinds of oils that can be used only for the scalp and vice versa.
  • In order to have your hair clean as much as possible, especially when you use hair oil, you should wash your hair with shampoo twice.
  • From my experience, you can observe the results of incubating hair and scalp after 3 – 4 weeks.
  • If you have a limited budget, you can incubate hair with fermented rice water and skip Hair Mist, Hair oil/serum. But make sure that you avoid making a heat impact on hair. Furthermore, you should not tie your hair tightly because you may damage both your scalp and hair.

An appropriate skincare routine can enhance your natural beauty

In fact, an effective skincare routine is a minimalist one which is suitable with your skin’s condition. A minimalist routine includes 4 items: micellar water – cleanser – moisturizer – sunscreen (in my opinion, serum is an optional). Workout is an indispensable part of full glow up guide

Perhaps you will get a little bit tired when it comes to “workout”, Well, so do I! Nonetheless, moderate and frequent exercise will improve not only your health but also your posture and shape. In this full glow up guide, I will introduce to you some effective but extremely easy for everyone: from students to adults, busy people and even people having stiff body like me. Interestingly, those videos will take you a really short time!


Two videos that I would love to share with you firstly are 10 MIN EXERCISE & STRETCH FOR SHOULDERS, NECK & THE COLLAR BONE and FIX & SLIM YOUR BACK + BETTER POSTURE IN 10 MINUTES by emi wong. These videos are effective in stretching the stiff back and shoulder, which are suitable for office people. Moreover, these wonderful practice videos will improve your posture, in other words, avoids turtle neck and hunchback posture. Also, you can get your back and shoulder in shape if persistently practice.

From my experience, this exercise helps me to decrease the pain of neck and shoulder due to wearing a heavy backpack for a long time. Besides, my shoulder also feels comfortable after practicing. Especially, this exercise highlights my collar bone effectively in a month!

I am really satisfied after practicing this exercise because it improves my turtle neck and hunchback posture a lot. In addition, when I feel my back is extremely hurt due to overwork, I will take this exercise to reduce painful feelings immediately.

The next exercise video that I find it effective and easy for improving physical healthy is from getfitbyivana. As for me, this is a short and simple exercise that will gently and slowly improve my flexibility rather than have a nice body shape.

This is one of my favorite exercises for booty because it is not too challenging for me. The result is so wonderful, I can see my booty is firmer. It is worth doing this exercise!

This is my top favorite video of Chloe Ting, During the time of high school, I did this exercise everyday. In the first week, it was quite challenging because my legs and booty were quite painful after exercising. However, it went smoothly in the next week and I could see the desired results for my booty. Speaking of tiny waist, I did not see much differences, perhaps my rectangle body shape was hard to see the “tiny waist effect as a hourglass body shape”.

A hydrated body skin brings youthful vitality

With the criteria of affordable budget and effectiveness, I suggest focusing on moisturizer and exfoliation. It is possible for you to have a glowing body skin with these 2 basic steps. For exfoliation, you should choose products with smooth texture. If the products contain particles, those particles need to be small and smooth to avoid causing scratches to the skin. Besides, you can go to the sauna to detoxify the skin effectively. In terms of body moisturizer, make sure they do not clog pores due to its thick texture (this can cause body acne).
Personally, I recommend Johnson’s baby oil for summer and L300 for winter. These 2 products are my best body moisturizer friends.

A small tip for you to have body skin absorb moisturizer completely: you should apply moisturizer after washing and drying body because skin will be dehydrated at that time.
